R-Bar Thursday report (5-28)

Last night was Dope-matic kid! DJ Yosh started the night with some fresh old skool cuts that had the crate diggers and old skool fools salivating at the mouth. Then the Def Defined DJs stepped in and ripped it!!! 3 DJs at the same time spinning everything from Dubstep to Electro Funk. Stay tuned for the pictures (coming soon). Talk about a Fresh Video. You gotta love the old skool feel. Brings me back to when we use to try and make up those handshakes in school... just to forget them after the weekend. What really makes this video FRESH is that there is more to it than just entertainment. Plus, Chromeo is featured on this track. There does seem to be a story line.. I give it 4FreshStars! It is all the same to me : Shoe talk

There are just some things that I don't like about fashion... and one of those things is when it hits that super trendy wave (*cough *cough... the skinny jeans epidemic) and everything looks the same. I don't have anything against the posted pics above (Jay-Z,Asics,and Reebok), but it all looks the same to me. But I guess when you are trying to cater to certain trend and style, you end up having to look like everyone else (... I think that is the definition of trendy). In that case, the "NEW TREND" is actually an oxymoron!!!

Thunderheist blowin up in Toronto

A while back I blogged about a group called THUNDERHEIST that caught my attention with their "JERK IT" song and video that was created by Thatgo.
