AraabMuzic guy is nooo joke on the MPC. This is the result of a talented drummer/producer going live on an MPC and wreckin' it!!! I've watched this video 5..10, maybe 15 times and still love it. Skrillex fans will notice a few recognizable tunes being jammed out on the pads by this relentless MPC abuser (this is meant in a good way!)
You can catch this guy live and in person in Hollywood on Jan 26th or at Coachella!! Good luck getting tickets if you haven't already.
This guy crushes people in beat battles, cuz his Dipset style combined with a live performance feel leaves many beatmakers prematurely unplugging their boxes. His speed is incredible and he flat out killz on this machine.

I've been digging this song since I first heard it leaked. I have been a fan of Cee Lo since he did that track with Timbaland (I'll be around). Not to mention I was feeling his vibe with Goodie Mob as well.
But back to my point, I can't help but Laugh My @$$ off (LMAO.. I don't usually use those), but this video is great. If you ever need a smile early in the week, peep out the video. It's better than watching a shaved puppy lick peanut butter off it's nose on Youtube.

I thought this was well worthy of posting. I'm a fan of Beatboxing, Micheal Jackson, and DJ'ing!! Mix them together and you get a FRESH session by beatboxer Shlomo, DJ Yoda, and the 6 year old Phenom MJ. This was actually back in 2008 if my referencing of vidz serves me right. I have been hearing this song for a bit now, and I finally Shazaam'd (iPhone App) it a while ago. I was surprised with the history behind this tune. Based on the name of the group and song title.. never would have figured it to rise from the Land Down Under. It's a boppy little tune with a simple sample played over..and over... and.. you get the picture. I actually like the AFRO NUTS song a bit more. DJ Hero 2 Addict

So I managed to get invited to the DJ HERO 2 party at MYSTUDIO (Hollywood) and it ended up to be the best thing I've done in a while. The venue was dope, and they had setup 5 different DJ Hero 2 stations. So basically people were walking around handing you food (Sliders, cookies-n-milk, and other stuff I can't pronounce) and champagne, while I jammed away at DJ HERO 2. A few of us DJ's had that "talk" on weather it was really like DJ'ing... my conclusion: WHO CARES??!! It is damn fun to play.

The greatest part of the night was being tapped on the shoulder and notified that I will be getting a Pre-Release copy... next thing I new a FRESH Puma bag was being slung on my should that contained a wireless DJ Hero Controller, a Mic, and a DJ HERO 2 for the XBOX 360.

Can you guess what I did when I got home that night?

More than halfway done... Update Overview

I've decided to wait until after my return to post video and hopefully some pics. I'm starting to know my way around the different islands which is really cool. And thanks to some crew staff, they tell me all the good places to go. This last half of the trip has been increasing in the amount of fun. I don't have the time (nor the good internet connection) to try and put it all in words. Hopefully I can make a short video to overview what it has been like recently. See more about the rest of the trip after the jump... plus music and more.

**UPDATE**
So the trip has ended and I am back in the US. I had a blast out there. I ended up meeting soo many people from all over the world. Plus, I got exposed to more music!! In fact, the song of my summer has to be "Alors on danse", by Stromae. My friends from Austria gave it to me, and I instantly liked it. Apparently it was topping the charts all year in Europe. Peep the video and a Fresh remix below.
To wrap things up, I went Zip-lining in Roatan, and snorkeling on every Island I got a chance to. DJ'ed every night in Club Skywalker and did my best to eat healthy...
I will miss all my good friends that I met on the ship, and I wish you all the best. I highly recommend this experience to any DJ, if you get a chance.

Days 1 - 3 in Paradise

Well the 1st few days have been very interesting down here. I'm surprised on how much control they give me. They pretty much told me to "Do what you do...!" So I can't really complain. There is an MC that helps me out, and makes it even easier to get crowd participation (yes.. I said it..) Some of the corny songs that are widely used in th States... really work here!
I think I'm stating to get a feel for here. I think as I do a few more nights, it will become even more fun.. but c'mon, doing what you love in Paradise, can I really complain?
I have been contemplating snorkeling today, but I'm just not feeling up to it today. Only 4 hours of sleep has it's effect. I'll start posting pics when I can remember to use my camera.

1st day in Miami / Fort Lauderdale

This is def a different place. Being hat I am from Cali, the Low humidity strikes me as being too HUMID! But I love the different feel that South Beach has than any other place in Cali. Mix Venice (without the hippi feel) with Hollywood and New Port Beach, and you might start to get a feel of what South beach is like. Did I mention that my drink was only $4.25..???whhahaaat?
So stay tuned as I will try to feed you some video food to help visualize the torture of the Caribbean that I must endure :)

I recently watched the previous Ghostbuster films and was notified that they are in the act of rolling out part 3. I did find an article confirming this:

It has been a long time waiting. But I just ran into the release date of the movie "Black Dynamite." It comes out in Theaters October 16th. I think I first heard of this movie almost a year ago. Here is a small excerpt.

Oooh! I have been waiting to post this up here for a while. Rye Rye has this track out that is BONKERS! It's that deep B'more style that has some crazy kick. I actually first heard it in a _____ store. I immediately ran to the register and demanded a copy of the CD that was playing. She gave it to me for free.
Back to the post... So this track features MIA, in which she also produces the video (See below). You have to listen to this song on a decent stereo (not stock computer or the likes)... because when the kick drum comes in... it's like a shot of those 5 hr energy drinks. Anyways... There are just some things that I don't like about fashion... and one of those things is when it hits that super trendy wave (*cough *cough... the skinny jeans epidemic) and everything looks the same. I don't have anything against the posted pics above (Jay-Z,Asics,and Reebok), but it all looks the same to me. But I guess when you are trying to cater to certain trend and style, you end up having to look like everyone else (... I think that is the definition of trendy). In that case, the "NEW TREND" is actually an oxymoron!!!

I was just reflecting on how much I truly dig that "Busta" flow on certain tracks. His style can sometimes sound good on any track you put him on. Imagine having a device slightly larger than an Ipod that you can DJ a live mix and have audio effects. Not meant to replace a full DJ setup, but you can do a whole lot with it.
