Tron Legacy & Daft Punk : Update

Not sure on when the last time I was this excited about a Disney movie coming out, but check out the HD Trailer below (Full Screen recommended) and you will know what I'm talking about. I heard through the grapevine that our buddies DAFT PUNK will be creating the score for this movie! ^^ Bonkers Kid!!

I'm back - like the Funky Chicken!

Well I'm back from an incredible trip in France. I learned a lot, and ate a lot of great food!! I will try and include some pics soon. For now, kick back and take some dance lessons from the man himself.. "JAMES BROWN!". Sorry no music today. I have a ton of music to sort through. Enjoy!

Heading to FRANCE!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will be out of the country for a few weeks. I will be driving through Southern France in hopes of captivating new inspirations and such.
Well, I also figure that I will also start posting some DJ inspirational vids. So here is my first drop on that subject. This is a scratch video of DJ Qbert cutting it up to a Kool G Rap instrumental. Making the video : Rye Rye - BANG!!!

Oooh! I have been waiting to post this up here for a while. Rye Rye has this track out that is BONKERS! It's that deep B'more style that has some crazy kick. I actually first heard it in a _____ store. I immediately ran to the register and demanded a copy of the CD that was playing. She gave it to me for free.
Back to the post... So this track features MIA, in which she also produces the video (See below). You have to listen to this song on a decent stereo (not stock computer or the likes)... because when the kick drum comes in... it's like a shot of those 5 hr energy drinks. Anyways... R-Bar Thursday Pictures 5/28/09

Here are some of the pics from the R-Bar event with PUMA and Foundtrack where DEF Defined DJs threw down a 3 DJ set. DJ Iceburrg, Clearcut, and Mugen all had dope sets... and their combined 3 DJs at once was a spectacle to watch and listen too. Dino Mayorga (Featured artist) tagged up a nice piece and had some of his shoes on display as well. You can hit him on his myspace here.
